PET

Polybutylene terephthalate, also known as tetramethyl terephthalate. Hereinafter referred to as PBT. It is a polycondensation of terephthalic acid and 1, 4-butanediol. Together with PET, PBT is called thermoplastic polyester.

Characteristics of PBT

A, mechanical properties: high strength, fatigue resistance, size stability, creep is also small (very little change under high temperature conditions);

B, heat aging: enhanced UL temperature index of 120~140ºC(outdoor long-term aging is also very good);

C, solvent resistance: no stress cracking;

D, water stability :PBT is not easy to decompose in water at room temperature (use caution in high temperature and humidity environment);
